Been getting these folks to do work for me for about 15 years now. Their work still works. Impressed with their knowledge and guidance on what to invest in and what not waste money on, to achieve my goal.

I pulled the engine out of vehicle and took it apart to see what all was damaged and what if anything could be fixed after it one day began clacking like a diesel engine upon startup. I decided to have re installation of the pistons and crank done by Forbes since I don't have a tape measure small enough or the experience to measure "clearance". It's been there 2 months and is finally ready. However, one week after I dropped it off I was told that I had a spun main bearing and might just want to buy a new engine. HA! WOW, young lady on the phone was crazy rude. When I called her out on her poor costumer service and said I’d be going somewhere else, she said, ‘good, we don’t want your business anyway’. What a joke. This place came recommended by a friend for some machine work, too. I don’t expect them to be open too much longer. Hope your day gets better, sister (she refused to tell me her name other than ‘Forbes’). 🤷‍♂️

I left a friend's head from her 4.9 Ford pickup, for a valve job and resurfacing. The total came to $151 and change; not bad. They had a full gasket set, in stock, too, which I expected. Dropped off Monday, picked up Thursday, and their guy unloaded and loaded.

This should be your machine shop-period.! From the knowledgeable lady that answers the phone to the machinist that actually does the inspection and work. I've been a certified master ASE mechanic since 1987 and advanced specialist since 1992. I built competition engines for 9 years and I affirm these folks will do whatever your automotive machining needs require...precision is precision and "Right" is what you'll take from their shop.
